A relaxed session where we hope to inspire children to keep the tradition of writing alive. For children to switch off their digital tech and get creative with pen and paper. Each session is unique, children will choose from topics such as brush and pointed pen lettering, faux-calligraphy (how to make letters look like calligraphy but using a pen or pencil instead) and different lettering styles. No experience is necessary (and neither is neat handwriting!).
All materials are provided but feel free to bring your own pens and paper as well. Parents are welcome to drop your children off and collect them afterwards. Join a community of young calligraphy enthusiasts as we practice and discuss all things calligraphy.
Ages 8 and above recommended. Parents will not need to accompany children throughout this session.
Phebe is an experienced children’s educator and all facilitators are DBS checked.
